Videozine was founded in the summer of 2004 as a VIDEO production company and to publish an industry magaZINE called “Visual Convergence“. Hence our unique name.

The magazine portion folded in 2005 and we started publishing blogs and shifted the video production portion to consumer video services such as VHS to DVD transfers. In 2006 we began our association with Creative Post, when Mike Allan our principal took on a role at Creative Post in their new media department. All of Videozine’s media duplication is now processed through Creative Post.

We promoted the consumer VHS to DVD portion of our business exclusively online and were very successful in achieving high ranks on the search engines; notably #1 on Google for the search term “VHS to DVD Transfers in Toronto”. This led us into the field of Search Engine Optimization and we formed a consulting practice under the SEO Services Toronto banner.

Which brings us to Videozine 3.0.

In 2010 we will be developing a series of video magazines - essentially video blogs of various areas of interest. More on this to come in the comng weeks.
